The dark fantasy styled artwork captured our attention in the toy aisle, and the mini-comics told the backstory of characters such as Battlecat, Ram-Man, Mer-Man, and Trap Jaw. The release of the Filmation cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe skyrocketed the popularity and turned the toys into a billion dollar phenomenon. Despite the contradictory storylines when compared to the mini-comics, most casual fans think of the series as the true canon of He-Man. We love both the Filmation and the mini-comics and aim to provide awesome He-Man shirts for both fandoms.
